It was a full weekend of fun, culture, tradition, networking, celebration and unity in Houston as that city’s chapter of the uber-Igbo youth association in the United States, Umu Igbo Unite, held its first banquet from June 23 to 25.
The event dubbed the Trifecta began at Pharaoh’s Hookah Lounge on Westheimer with a Club Night on Friday, climaxed with a spectacular exhibition of dance, masquerade, culture and fashion on Saturday at the Lighthouse Hall in Stafford and the pre-departure brunch at the Trinity African Bar, Gressner Road, marked the resolution.
