Umu Igbo Unite hold successful Date Auction in Houston

February 12, 2017 was a Triple-Threat Saturday in Houston as the Umu Igbo Unite Houston Chapter (UIU Houston) held three excellent events across the city. The first was an Afrobeats dance workout session at Creative Workouts Gym and the afternoon featured an Igbo Language Class.
But the highlight of the day was Single Mingle and Date Auction- an occasion that afforded single ladies and gentlemen of the organization and guests an opportunity to hookup. While the focus was on bachelors and spinsters, married couples also participated since the event was to raise funds in support of charities and other UIU-Houston events.                                                                                           Funds collected from the events will go towards the UIU-Houston banquet and the UIU Cares Charity that will benefit Nigerian causes such as Motherless Babies Homes, battered women, windows and scholarships.
